Taz holds the Accredited Mortgage Professional designation. Taz has been in the finance industry for nearly 12 years. She began her career with Scotiabank in personal banking. As a Certified Adult Educator, she facilitated mortgage training for bank staff for two years and uses this experience to bring a unique communication style that simplifies the complex mortgage process for her clients.
Taz has been an independent mortgage broker since 2004, giving her access to over 50 lenders. Taz specializes in 4 main areas of mortgage financing; Divorce, New Canadians, First Time Homebuyer’s and Million Dollar purchases.
Taz is an active volunteer with Money Mentors, Momentum, Habitat for Humanity and the Ismaili Women’s Development Portfolio. Her speaking engagements range from small private groups, to company lunch & learn sessions to corporate clients. Taz hosts monthly mortgage seminars in Calgary to help educate others on various mortgage related topics.
Taz’s primary goal is to educate clients on the mortgage process and what if scenarios. She finds the best mortgage strategy tailored to fit her clients’ needs, goals and over-all financial portfolio, working closely with a team of related professionals.
